Please meet Andrii Harmash who has been working as a web developer at Viaduct for the last 2 years. Andrii graduated from the National University of Food Technologies in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and now he’s on the way to a Doctor’s degree that he’s going to get in 2024.

Andrii says, “Management is somewhat of a family priority for me. Both of my sisters also studied it and back then I already took interest in some of the subjects. The best part is that this also helps me with my work in IT. Thanks to learning things like logistics, external economics, and organizational management, I’m able to understand different aspects and processes that take place and see the bigger picture more clearly. Right now I’m working on a paper that talks about IT outsourcing in Ukraine and how we can restructure it to improve its efficiency.

At Viaduct I try to do my best because everything depends on you and your persistent efforts and hard work. Here I’m responsible for the development of websites, custom themes and plugins for WordPress, Shopify, also specializing in PHP, Js, HTML, CSS, jQuery, MySQL, SASS, etc. My immediate objective is to learn React. I like working at Viaduct because I’m appreciated and respected both as a person and professional in my field. Moreover, I take pleasure in my work that corresponds to my salary and personal comfort as much as possible.

So business before pleasure. But those, who work hard, should play hard. That’s why I try to use every possibility to relax and spend my leisure time actively. I enjoy playing basketball and going to the gym. At weekends I love watching technological guides and going to different cities and places where I have never been before.”
